This Privacy Policy explains what information PORTELA NEGOCIOS DIGITAIS LTD, operator of halvorone.com (Halvor One, we, us), collects when you visit our site or place an order, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have.

We know this is a private purchase. We treat your information that way. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not give your purchase history to other companies so they can market their own products to you. The only outside companies that see your order are the ones that help us process, ship and measure it, and they are listed below.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you order, create an account, contact support, leave a review or sign up for emails or texts, we collect what you provide: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, order details and the content of your messages. Payment details are collected directly by our payment processors. We never see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our service providers collect your IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you view, how you got to our site, the products you look at or add to your cart, and the time spent on each page. This is collected through cookies, pixels and similar technologies described below.

Information from others. We may receive order and fraud-screening information from Shopify and our payment processors, and delivery status from shipping carriers.

2. How we use your information

  • To process, ship and deliver your order.
  • To send order confirmations, tracking and support replies.
  • To handle returns, refunds and warranty claims.
  • To screen for fraud and keep the site secure.
  • To improve the site, our products and our guides.
  • To send marketing emails or texts, if you opted in.
  • To show you relevant ads and measure whether our ads work.
  • To comply with the law and enforce our Terms.

3. Who we share it with

We share information only with the companies that help us run the store, and only what they need to do their job:

  • Shopify Inc., which hosts our store, processes orders and stores customer data. Shopify's privacy policy is at shopify.com/legal/privacy.
  • Payment processors such as Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay, to process your payment and screen for fraud.
  • Fulfillment partners and shipping carriers, who receive your name, address and phone number to pack and deliver your order. The package shows no product name.
  • Email and SMS providers, to send transactional and, if you opted in, marketing messages.
  • Analytics and advertising partners such as Meta and Google, as described in section 4.
  • Customer support and review tools, to answer your emails and display reviews.
  • Legal authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, our customers or others.

If our business is sold or merged, customer information may transfer to the new owner under this same policy.

4. Cookies, pixels and advertising

We use cookies and similar tools on our site:

  • Essential cookies from Shopify, which keep your cart, let you check out and protect against fraud. The site does not work without them.
  • Analytics such as Shopify Analytics and Google Analytics, to understand how people use the site.
  • Advertising pixels such as the Meta Pixel, the Meta Conversions API and the Google Ads tag. They tell us which ads brought you here and whether you purchased, so we can measure our ads and show relevant ones. These partners may combine this with information they hold about you under their own privacy policies.

You can control cookies in your browser settings. You can limit ad personalization at facebook.com/adpreferences and at adssettings.google.com. You can also use the Your Privacy Choices link in our footer, described in section 6.

5. Email and SMS marketing

We send marketing emails only if you entered your email on our site or opted in at checkout. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are off the list. Order and shipping emails still go out, because you need them.

We send text messages only if you gave your mobile number and expressly agreed to receive texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of purchase.

6. Your Privacy Choices

If you live in California, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it.
  • Get a copy of it.
  • Delete it.
  • Correct it.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for targeted advertising.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
  • Not be treated differently for using these rights.

We do not sell personal information for money. However, the use of advertising pixels described in section 4 may count as sharing under California law. To opt out, click Your Privacy Choices in the footer of our site, or email support@halvorone.com with "Your Privacy Choices" in the subject line. We also honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out request.

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with privacy laws have similar rights and can use the same email to exercise them. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we respond within the time the law requires, normally 45 days. You may appoint an authorized agent to make a request for you.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep order records for as long as we need them for warranty, tax and accounting purposes, generally 7 years. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Support emails are kept for 3 years. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to records we must keep by law.

8. Security

Our store runs on Shopify, which meets the highest card-security standard in the industry (PCI Level 1). Every page is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it to serve you. No method of transmission over the internet is 100 percent secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. Children

Our site and products are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

10. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. There is no industry standard for responding to it, so our site does not change its behavior based on that signal. We do honor the Global Privacy Control signal as described in section 6.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we post a notice on the site or email you.
